I hate to say this but the Rags used to do the same all the time, but this time it's the good guys

I said the very same thing to my missus when he scored.

Well the headline writers will have to hit DELETE and start again. They will have to put their sharpened knives back in the drawer.

That is the stuff of champions.

Any scousers wish to comment on whether Sterling was worth the transfer fee now?

spot on I think they are all trying to get their reports changed as hardly anything has hit Newnow, simply because they have the wrong result.

as Skoorb says you can hear them all groaning, I used to do when they scored in fergie time, but Saints did time waste.

.....never surrender.

Buzz makes a very good point - it was the opposition who engaged in deliberate tactics to delay restarts pretty much every time the ball was out of play. All the usual tactics were on display to slow the game down and so I have no sympathy with them. Forster was at it from the get go so perhaps he should consider that next time he takes nearly two minutes to take a goal kick.

As with the Terriers only one team was trying to win and play football. So zero sympathy from me and all genuine lovers of football with the result. The medja luvvies will have to put their pre-written bile back in the bottom draw until we fail. Just pray it does not happen at the home of the World Champion of pragmatic negative football temporarily in charge at Ragtown.
