I am with you on the Rising, they scored and I was in no doubt that we would come back and win the game, but that is not arrogance merely that we looked the better team and we would work a way round a 10 man defence, which in the past we have struggled against teams outside the top 6.

Exactly. If this was last season, I would have been chewing my nails down to the quick and pacing up and down, but this afternoon I was very relaxed and laid back.

Match of the Day2 was very complimentary about Raheem Sterling and the influence of Pep and showed a clip in training, with Pep showing Raheem what exactly he wanted from him and how to open his body to give him various options, then showed how this training had been transferred to the match itself.

I suppose we will get another in the series by Sky Sports on how to stop City episode 143.

It was significant that Pep said they would lose a game, but in my mind, he meant one that did not count, that being the Shakhtar game and he could flood the team with fringe players and give he players a well earned rest before they play the Derby match, whilst United still have work to do if they are to win their group and have an 'easier' draw in the next round, although the conspiracy theorists amongst us (me) thinks the draw will be fixed anyway so it matters not whether They top their group or not an easy game will be theirs come the draw for the next round.

I managed to catch the game in Abu Dhabi - it's not just Sky Sports. The commentator for whatever channel i was watching it on was very enthusiastic on the issue of whether the Terriers would be the ones to upset the applecart - it just strick me that this never was the narrative when the rags were winning all the time when the theme was their success, what a good team they were, how brilliant their manager was.......

The guy nearly exploded when the Huddersfield goal went in. He was desperate to try find a reason to deny that it was a penalty but even Jim Beglin (I know!) couldn't back him up.

I know we are up there to be shot at but it gets a bit tiresome. I do not want sycophancy but a little balance for the way the players are delivering would be nice.

Have to mention, hats off to Wagner and Malone for their honesty in regards the awarding of the penalty, very refreshing

Man City is been favored by match referees e.g see what happened today against Huddersfield, sterling should ve been booked for simulation. If that had happened the penalty that Aguero converted wouldn't have happened. Debrune also was not supposed to finish the game.

Get use to the hate. It what comes with winning, and especially if you aren't one of the media's chosen few.
