The rags are hoping it does get postponed because by the time they get round to arranging a revised date, Carlton will have served his ban.
In our favour, Stonesy should be back.

Regarding Neville's tweet....thought it unnecessary, but I saw a call on Twitter that I thought was ideal......

West Ham play on Saturday, and that would free up a certain Pablo Zabaleta

It was always coming, something like this as he tries to influence the officials.

He is such an utter hypocrite & a detestable pr*ck. This is from the guy whose sides persistently commit fouls if they lose possession in the opposition half so as to disrupt the play. I expect Herrera, one of his chief assassins, to play a part tomorrow with any of Sané, Sterling, Agüero, Silva etc at risk

Maureen needs to look at his own team with Young heading the list.

We should be prepared to have the game called off due to snow . The pitch will be fine but the commute could be virtually impossible.

Sunday (Manchester) forecast.

Yellow Snow Warning

Windy through the morning, with sleet and snow persisting through much of the day. Large accumulations of snow are likely in places....

This could lead to road, rail and air travel delays, with the potential for vehicles to become stranded or public transport to be cancelled. Rural communities with limited access routes could become cut off.

Sunday's Liverpool derby is also in jeopardy.

If the above is correct then I have a feeling the Sky TV Executives will have a meltdown.

Quite a collection there. And there I was thinking it was only Ashley Plunge who excelled at flinging themselves to the turf. Must run special coaching sessions. I fully expect this to get highlighted in the build up to the game but also expect them only to show clips of Sterling.

The weather is a concern and Tudor is right - the Sky senior management will be sweating on this.

18 months in and how do Maureen and Guardiola compare?

There is a clear winner. It will get under Maureen’s skin.

I always want to win the derby of course but after after his snide comments I now want the result to be emphatic. Come on boys. Do your stuff.

Weather update.
There's a bare sprinkling of snow as I type (it started at 8.45am) on the pub car park opposite to me, although there's nothing on the grass.
The sky is pale blue, and it's just started coming down slowly again. Could be in all day by the looks.

The snow is now much thicker and falling more heavily.
The ground is getting covered very quickly. Could be a long day.

A spell of heavy snow is likely over parts of Wales, the Midlands and parts of Northern England on Sunday.

Road, rail and air travel delays are likely, as well as stranding of vehicles and public transport cancellations. There is a good chance that some rural communities could become cut off.
