Fresh from 'Milkgate'™ at Old Toilet, where City gave United a lesson in how to attack, when you are the home team, The Police are not interested in the 'handbags' in the Tunnel, but the Milk Marketing Board are curious and want to know if it was semi-skimmed?
Park the Bus, Park the Bus United, did just that and Maureen's assertion that City are a team of divers and tactical foulers, Well Jose, show me a team that is not, City now hold the record for the consecutive number of wins in the same season and take on Swansea City on Wednesday 13th December (not on TV). Whilst I am not expecting any major changes to the line-up, Pep may just have an eye on the weekend, with Spurs (Always goals) and may surprise us in his selection.

Swansea City
The Swans were founded in 1912 under Swansea Town and it was not until 1969, that Swansea was granted the status of a City and with that Swansea Town also changed the Town to City. They play at the Liberty Stadium 20,938 can be crammed in their to watch their favourites, currently under the Managership of Paul Clements.

City Connections
Roy Paul
Chris Coleman (never played for us but was on our books as a youth)
Scott Sinclair
Vic Gomersal
Tommy Hutchison
Wilfried Bony

Currently lying with one foot on the trapdoor in 19th spot, but like most Clubs in the lower regions of the Premier League, they cannot hold on to their best players who are ambitious and want to move to where the grass is greener or so they think. Swansea have not had a good start to this season although they did manage a creditable draw against Tottenham Hotspur. They have scored a total of 10 goal 5 of which were at Home conceding a total of 27 of which 10 have hit the back of the net by the visiting teams.

players to watch
Wilf Bony playing himself back into form and is dangerous when he gets a sniff.

Tammy Abraham - a loanee from Chelsea and one to watch for the future if he can keep his feet on the ground

Lucasz Fabianski currently number one in the stats for saves (62 to date)

prediction - an away win for City, like most team these days, including Manchester United, they will defend and hope for a lucky break, for our part we need to focus no matter where a team's position is in the league if complacency sets in, any team is capable of beating each other. City problem of course will be to try and break down the defence of Swansea.

The team will be here with comments throughout the game which is presided over by Altrincham supporter.

Buzz

As you intimate, this should be a routine win but of course no side in this league can be taken lightly.
I, too, expect Sergio to come back in, given his rest at the weekend.

We should cruise to an easy win, I expect a hat-trick from Kun in the first half, very confident of the three points. Spurs will be tricky.

The City squad....

Ederson, Bravo, Walker, Danilo, Otamendi, Mangala, Kompany, Delph, Zinchenko, Toure, Gundogan, Fernandinho, D Silva, B Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Aguero, Jesus.

Kompany taken along but surely only for morale purposes and keeping that squad unity going.

This will not be an easy game. We are now up there to be shot at and I am sure Pep will not allow any sort of "we only have to turn up and the points are ours" mentality to creep in. Expect to be challenged in every game, expect to be tested by every team but give your best and work to the maximum and the rest will come.

Vincent will be a key person in the dressing room, a true blue like Zaba, a good motivator, but I have seen another squad which omits VK4 but adds Tosin, Diaz and Foden.

Again complacency is our enemy along with looking for the key to unlock the bus, because I feel if Paul Clements sends them out to pressure us, then we will certainly nail them to the foot of the table, but if we lose that concentration or Pep makes too many changes, with looking at Tottingham Hottingspurs at the weekend, then it will be a rough ride.

However part of me wants him to blood Tosin. because i think he is ready

I've got Gundogan in my team for Fernie, as he's still on 4 yellows, and Spurs are up next.
Also B Silva in for D Silva.
I know Sane is also on 4, but, again, instruct him to avoid confrontation at all cost.

We can win this although Bony will be keen to make a point and in Renato Sanchez they posses a formidable midfield talent, albeit on loan from Bayern.

Me too but it might be good to keep with Mangala after a decent performance at the Swamp.

Hopefully get the job done and then rest Merlin and Red Kev.

The Mirror are scraping the barrel suggesting that based on 'Google searches' City would not win the title, no it's not a vote or a computer analysis, but clearly based on what team are searched for on Google - absolutely unbelievable !!! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-win-p...

I agree Kenny, I think Mangala's problem is simply a lack of games, he is willing to learn and wants to stay, but also Tosin who played in Ukraine in the 2-1 defeat, he did Ok against a very good side.

Good to hear that the youngsters might be in the squad.

Getting them engaged at this stage is a key part of Guardiola's strategy for developing them and getting them fully invested in being part of the team's & club's future. He wants them to see, hear, feel and taste what it is like when a team is being successful and in doing so he will be hoping that they step up with their performances and push for selection but also learn and grow so that they can see a future embeddded in the team just as say John Stones, David Silva or Kevin De Bruyne are. What a fascinating place to be learning your footballing trade.

South Wales is never an easy place to go in a winter midweek but this Swansea side are not the same team that once made the Liberty Stadium a fortress. Looking to Kun Aguero to bag a couple tonight. A 0-2 professional showing will do me. The players should bring a book to read or a crossword puzzle for the dressing room afterwards.
