The FA it seems have finally woken up and asked the knob to explain his pre-derby comments.

Wonder what took them so long.

The timing is odd.

I also wonder why Wenger was allowed say what he said about Sterling and not be asked to explain his comments.

FA rules state managers are not allowed to discuss referees before games.

The Wenger one just questioned the player and not the authorities, whilst Maureen implicated the referees.

However Moanreen
“They have lots of people surrounding the ball area and they have a very strong – and this is a great quality – transition in the next few seconds after they lose the ball and many times, they need what is called a ‘tactical foul’.
“Then it is up to the referee to analyse and to make a decision, but I cannot speak about that.”

He is now starting to drift back into his old ways. The derby opened the door and now he has effectively generated a situation where he can expect s treak of questions each press conference from the hacks which will allow him to perpetuate his narrative that City are protected, that they get away with things. His intent being to get this theme wormed into the minds of officials and panels etc.

He doesn’t change. Desperately behind his club’s rivals for the title they haven’t won for years he is now wheeling out his old tricks. I seriously hope someone gives them a spanking or perhaps worse, that they suffer a series of draws which sees them trail even further than eleven points behind. Three of those on the trot and there would be calls for his head.

Seems to me that the FA should have better things to do.

This seems to have vanished off the radar totally. Absolutely no news or updates on this whatsoever.

Swept under the carpet?

Oh yeah, you're right - not a dicky-bird about it anywhere.
Quietly dropped and swept under the carpet, as you say.

Them slight breezes kept blowing Pogbahahaha over last night.

In fact their goal came from one such breeze. Successful deception of a match official?

Oh my giddy aunt

I have watched that several times and it just looks worse and worse. He actually jumps from a standing start. I would laugh if a) it wasn't hypocrisy of the highest order from Carlton Pogba in the light of his manager's comments and b) It was directly in front of the referee (Lee Mason is it?).

How the **** did he not get carded for that?

Not sure how true it is but someone said Carlton cost more than the teas of Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and some local rugby club (?) combined.

Two on Wednesday.

Mike Jones in charge Saturday. Watch this space.

His intent was not purely aimed at the derby - he had a longer term agenda. The failure to sanction him or Wenger is ridiculous

Apparently we have had three players (Kipling, Gundogan and Walker) booked this season for diving in the League Cup alone - why is this and how can it be? - we are not a club that cheats, ok Mourinho claims we do the niggly fouls to break up play but that isn't cheating since it is done with the expectation of being spotted and punished. And yet Pogba allegedly dives last night and...nothing - and yet he plays in the same team as Young who is infamous for throwing himself to the floor claiming he has been fouled.

Who remembers the discussions on here a year or three back to discuss who would replace Kipling and Pogba seemed to be the only choice. I am so happy we didn't buy him.
