Turning out to be a good week for him, perhaps he'll score the winner at Filbert Street on Tuesday just to wrap things up.

Topping a fabulous year for this young man, Phil Foden has been awarded the BBC Young Personality of the Year.

An oustanding achievement for this wonderful talented young man. Highly regarded by Pep Guardiola this lad has a very bright future indeed.

From the OS

Phil Foden has won this year’s BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award at a ceremony in Liverpool.
It caps a wonderful 2017 for the 17-year-old who claimed the Golden Ball award for the tournament's best player at the U17s World Cup in October, scoring twice in the final as England beat Spain 5-2 to lift the coveted trophy.

He also played a key role in England’s run to the final of the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in May.

The Stockport-born midfielder, who has been at City since he was nine, made his Blues debut in November as a second-half substitute in the win over Feyenoord, and then made his full debut against Shakhtar Donetsk two weeks ago, becoming the youngest Englishman to start a game in the Champions League.

Everyone at City would like to congratulate Phil on his well-deserved award.
