a view from the BBC

GOAL - Manchester City 2-0 Bournemouth
Raheem Sterling (52 mins)

Absolutely wonderful football from Manchester City.

David Silva slides a pass into Sergio Aguero, and without even looking the Argentine flicks it with his back to goal into the path of Raheem Sterling.

He latches on to it inside the box and smashes beyond Asmir Begovic.

Lovely stuff. KDB strayed offside (deliberately?) but it caused the defenders to stop...... meantime, Sterling steals onto Aguero's delicious flick and slams it home.

Penny for the thoughts of all the Liverpool fans who slagged him off?

Sterling is certainly having a stellar season and it stem from that clip where pep explains to RS7 how to score more goals.

They got OTT money for him and should not complain, as they now have some decent players like Milner etc

Wasn't Smith the one who wound up Nolito in this fixture last season?

It was and Nolito could not understand English refereeing and that is why he is no longer here.
