FT 4-1 and I have to say, it did not look that way at HT with City scrappy and disjointed and Stonesy playing a big part in Burnley's opener.

The second half different team effort and not until the 54th minute did city get one on target, but from then on it was the Sergio show and City come away with another win against PL opposition, what are the odds of us getting another top team in the next draw.

We kick off tonight with the BBC continuing it's selective input mantra...

Adam Blaize: Manchester City killing football this season. Guardiola didn’t build those teams at Barca & Bayern & he didn’t build this one

- We know from our man in the BBC who runs these threads that they get stacks of tweets. So one of the three hacks running it today selected this bollocks.

Are we really this good, I have to pinch myself with some scintillating football and moan if we are just average (my expectations)

Hmm...selective amnesia there from the BBC. But yes, we're not much fun if you're an opposing fan.

We are certain to get a PL side away now. The rags should get Coventry at home.

Whothe **ck is Adam Blaize?

Does he know anything about Pep’s background at those clubs or his current one? He promoted lots of players into the Barca first team and coached them all to be world beaters; He took over a Bayern team with many big names and moulded their play, including turning one of their full backs (Lahm) into one of the most versatile and valued players in the world; from the current City side he has introduced Ederson, Walker, Danilo, Sané, Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus and we are pretty sure he was influential in the signing of both Stones and Sterling. He has improved Fabian Delph and Fernandinho is playing the best football of his life.

Err, which bits did he not contribute to?

Talk about trying to denigrate the man’s abilities

I fired an unanswered missile at the BBC and check this....

Mike: If Guardiola didn't build those teams who did? Credit where credit is due he's doing a top job

Andy Holgate: Bizarre comments from Adam Blaize. Pep has indeed inherited a lot of these players but he’s taken them to a new level. He’s “built” the players into great players or even world class. Look at Sterling and Otamendi. Just look at KDB. That is is Pep’s work. Quite dismissive from Adam to the genius of Pep.

Derek, Holland: Pep killing football?!?! Reviving The Beautiful Game, more like

Al, Manchester: Please Adam at 1647: Give Pep some credit. He has spent lots of money but hasn't he coached players to improve and play his way? Sterling,Sane, De Bruyne, Stones. Shall I go on?
