The chosen ties sort of make sense except for the Liverpool versus Baggies one - the others have PL giants going to plucky underdogs; cold showers, terracing, cow pats in the goalmouth etc but not much chance of either West Brom securing a result or Randon having to sidestep cowshit on the Anfield penalty spots.

58 consecutive Cup ties, televised for the United matches for a team that did the ultimate in disrespecting the competition in 1999/2000.

They withdrew because, they were in the Club World Championship, but they would only have missed the 3rd round and in those days you could bet even then the hot, cold, small or large balls were employed to give them a favourable draw against lesser opposition.

One wonders why you need rehearsals for a draw, the excuses given were pitiful, mean even two United fans could have done it and then why show us the result where United get drawn against Liverpool, was that a ploy to make us think the draw was not fixed, but TWO rehearsals and then they get Yeovil, we get the usual away win but a top Championship side... just saying...

If they want to avoid any sense of impropriety they should practice before the ball numbers are allocated or use a set with letters/numbers unconnected with the teams left in the competition.

An ex-rag pulling out U*d against lower league opposition.......never happen would it?

And yet with all the all the built in advantages the Rags have, they still fail to capitalize on them.
