Local Rivalry Renewed in Last Game

So here it is, the end of another moribund season punctuated only by our continued ability to find our own feet with the gun, What have Manchester City and Butlins got in common? Both their seasons end in October.
NOT!
If you know of any City fan who isn`t deliriously happy with their footballing lot at the moment, do them a favour and check their pulse-they may just be dead.
For me, it has always felt a pleasure to be a blue- even when pain was the most common emotion, I always felt better for being blue not red.

And now we are in third place hoping to secure it with a win and the day after the game we will parade the FA CUP.

Vital Quotes:

Zat Knight-Some people concentrate on the wrong things," said Knight.
"They say we get paid this, or get paid that and we`re okay because we go home to the things we`ve got.
"But we work all week to put in a performance. And if we lose it hurts us just as much as it hurts the fans'- mmmm

Roberto Mancini on SWP- did say that he found it hard leaving him out of the 18 for the FA Cup final.
"For me, it is very difficult because I understand Shaun is a big player for the City supporters," he added.
"On Saturday, when he didn`t play and wasn`t on the bench for the FA Cup final it was very difficult for me because I know it was very important for him. But doing this job I sometimes have to make difficult choices."

Has to be really doesn't it? The money grubbing striker really does have a talent but doesn't believe that he has to work at it as well. In all my years i have never been so angry with a one of our home grown players.

Manchester City Team News:

Only Zabaleta is a fresh injury doubt, the lad is a warrior so will want to be out there to help keep us in third place.

Hart-Richards-Kompany-Lescott-Zabaleta- de Jong- Toure-Milner-Johnson-Silva-Tevez

Player to watch: Carlos Tevez

Genius, Totem for our team, playing his last game? in my own jaded heart, i believe today will be his last game, he's done his 2 years but hope springs eternal in the human breast.

Really want 3rd place, and fully expect Mancini to field a very strong squad - that should in theory be enough to deal with notlob.

Haven't scored in 4 of our last 5 trips to the Reebok and have won none of them. Time to change that!

No reason why we cannot secure third in style.
