I'd play him on Thursday night against the Islanders with Sturridge or Evans. Maybe if the lad can start bagging a few goals pre season he could do a job for us.

This lad has talent and needs a partner in a 442 and will score I am sure, but will he be given the opportuinity.

I see he's not in the squad for Oakwell. Manchester City (from): Hart, Schmeichel, Corluka, Onuoha, Dunne, Richards, Ball, Ireland, Hamann, Elano, Fernandes, Mee, Johnson, Petrov, Castillo, Sturridge, Vassell, Evans, Caicedo.

He can't score and won't score! The greek Georgios Samaras was better on goal.

Squad details picked up from the excellent tried and trusted Teamtalk via newsnow, alph. Das Daily Mail have also published them which begs the question whose dishing the info out as there is nothing from the official site!

Apologies in advance, thriller but there is no way in this world or the next that Sam Harris is "reborn." He still looks like a basketball player who stumbled into a football ground and now is back at his level in the Scottish league which has about the same intensity as that of Holland. I have seen him make a total arse of himself with one up front alongside him on numerous occasions. I've yet to see Bianchi play alongside a strike partner for any length of time. Maybe we'll get to see what he can do although his omission from the UEFA squad doesn't look good for him.

Thanks JB. I think the actual squad for the game will be slightly different and wouldn't be surprised if Bianchi is given a game.

I hope that's the case as it would be good to see the lad get a run out.

Seems to be a real split of opinions on our scarf wearing striker! For what it's worth i'd like to see him have another chance. He looks a first class poacher with a decent touch, and there's no way he's worse than the Gormless Greek. Play him Thursday Sparks and he'll have a field day!!

If you get the supply right and play 442 he may well surprise you. As for a comparison with sam Harris, there isn't one. Have alook at the Goals Bianchi scored, all good ones and because he was given good crosses. I know he has missed some sitters, but I put that down to lack of matches and nerves. Play him where he can bang them in and his confidence will come back. he must be on youtube somewhere.
