i would have put my house on the fact that that would be the very first comment on here. lol so who is stupid enought o play a so called "reserves team " on the 1st day of the season. i think you mean you had the quality of the reserves. at least its better than having no players which is what will happen when your new owner gets banged up and his money taken... for a thai guy he doesnt half act like a true manc utv

I dont think we could give MOM to a defender when you let 4 goals. Villa did play well, but they scored when we were going for the win after equalising. We played right to the whistle and the introduction of sturridge and Ireland injected some energy into the side. Well done Villa but I would be worried about the villa defense who will meet far better attacking side than City. Well done to City for not going to Villa for a bore draw and actually making a game of it. The scoreline a bit unfair on City but Villa deserved the win.

City81, if that is your best english i suggest you go back to school. As for our defence i admit we let in sloppy goals, but that was more to do with arrogance at playing such a poor team. After the third goal went in the whole team went into showboat mode - ashley young was taking the pi$$ out of your whole team, even in his own area. In a tighter game against decent opposition we'd be more disciplined. Anyone remember the thread about City out singing the villa...... Sh!t support my lord, **** support.......

Settle down. We outplayed you. Simple as that. Game should have been out of site by the first half. Buzz Lightyear- only decent post on here. I agree, our defense was shaky at times but I expect them to gel soon as we've injected 3 new members into it. Also, a little was lackadaisical due to being up 4-1. You didn't play badly, we just "were a dream going forward" - MON

So many childish remarks from City fans, give it a rest eh! take it like a man, you lost full stop, you've been beaten buy a better team, what you forget is we had 3 new players playing today, and reo-coker playing out off position, and the *****e with barry still hanging over our heads, you can hardly say we we're at full speed, it's great to think your team would win! I for one wouldn't think you're much of a fan if u didn't, but after the way we finished off in the prem last season and the good signings we've made so far, and the disgracefull display you put in midweek, I was never in doubt that we would win, and thats just what we did, we finished above you last year, and theres no reason to think we shouldn't again, you can't say it I know, but deep down you know it, just like i know we won't finish above Man u, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool, but one thing is for sure we will finish above Man City
