Well not watched the game yet but if the stats don't lie (for a change) then 24 shots on goal for City is very impressive considering recent performances.

What got me was the commentators expecting Villa to win and kept saying Villa are chalking upthe corner count and when you see the stats they had less that City. A really good solid performance, without our star man Bellamy

A great work-like performance, esp no Bells & Robinho! The stats don't lie. Fantastic 1st half & we should have been at least 2-0 up!! Villa tried but the Dunney monster was back & had a brilliant game - he must love playing against Heskey. C.T.I.D.

24 shots on goal, and all without Robinho (or Bellamy for that matter) in the side. To be honest, it was very, very difficult to tell which was the team chasing a champions league spot and which was the one struggling to finish 7th!
