Well having watched the game i think the stats reflects the match. The 3-1 scoreline flattered City , as for once we took every chance offered to us - the Blackburn defence was a shambles.

hell of a match. we never looked comfortable, but we definitely deserved every goal we got. 3 matches in a row... who'd have thought? lol

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'm glad Gelson never made it off the bench...

I didn't watch or listen to the commentary but I have to say the stats are poor reading. Just look at the goal attempts and shots on target. Sends a shiver down my spine albeit we won.

Well done City. You took the chances that we presented to you through shabby defending. I dont mean to sound bitter but we were our own worst enemy today. Good luck for the rest of the season. You deserve Europe - make it happen.

We won and that's all that counts ...I have seen some poor refing in my time and this is up there with them...

This is the sort of game -- against hard and "spoiling" sides -- that we were losing earlier in the season. City seem to have got hold of the fact we need to grind out results aginst those less skillful. Robinho and Elano epitomised this and just kept going until the chance to make their quality tell.
