Blackburn were not awful, but they just don't have any real attackers in their squad. I am glad it was only 2-0, as a big win might have led us into false pretences. We have work to do at the back, and the midfield didn't quiet work, did it? But we have started and it was a win.

Not a bad start at all. Could have looked better in all around, but still, a win is a win.

BW, Blackburn created Chances but the difference was that we were more disciplined than we were last season and defended as a unit rather than last ditch tackles. You could see Toure throughout the match directing players to where they should be and Richards will benefit for having Toure in the team. Dunney has upped his game because like the rest of us he thought his place was and is under threat and that is good because you have to be on top of your game to retain your place.

Dunne put in one of his player of the season games and with nedum doing so well it will push him to continue his fine form. Blackburn did well to create so many chances although we coped with the occassion well and discipline saw us through. I can't see many teams working as hard as rovers so good luck to them for the rest of the season.

A good game in my opinion fellas, You took your chances well, something we need to start doing fast as the season progresses. And I have to agree, your defensive solidarity yesterday was pretty strong, something I can see that will only get better, especially with Barry just in front. Enjoy the season, im sure it will be a rollercoaster of a ride for both clubs!
