Comments...
Johnny On The Spot: You wait 13 games for an Emmanuel Adebayor goal and 3 come along at once!... Some of City's pass and move and link up play was sensational tonight. With Paddy Vieira and skipper for the night Nigel De Jong marshalling the midfield superbly, the stunning David Silva was able to create and make things happen at will, playing in SWP and AJ repeatedly...There is clearly a tremendous team spirit across the City squad and the whole team worked tremendously hard for each other. This result against dogged opposition backed by an amazing away following is a tremendous confidence booster for the upcoming challenges in the Premier League. Key personnel got plenty of rest tonight and the grins of the players in the stands and on the bench bode well. Well done Mancio. Selection, balance, shape, all spot on...Ade is the first Manchester City player to score a European hat-trick.

Ade deserved the MOTM award. He played with passion, grit and determination - well done that man.

As I've said on two seperate occasions now, 'Emmanuel Adebayor can no longer control a football'. Oh, well i'll be.....................

The Lech Poznan fans were class. We could learn a lot from the way their support was orchestrated throughout. We have the desire but lack the ability to sing in unison.
