Johnny On The Spot: The City juggernaut is gathering momentum. The hallmark of great sides is the ability to be able to stay strong and go toe to toe with desperate teams who will opt for a more physical approach to stifle flowing football. This City side has the athleticism and hard edge required to do just that, especially away from home...When West Ham sporadically threatened to get a foothold in this game they found themselves outmuscled in every department...At times City were again rampant and in truth, as in previous games, could have run up double figures such was The Citizens dominance...This was an emphatic win which takes The Blues joint top of The Premier League with Arsenal, safe in the knowledge that our title rivals will be cancelling each other out through this "Decisive December."..And a title race is precisely what this strong and now fully gelled City squad has played itself into. The players bond with the fans is growing as scenes at the final whistle today showed with a delighted Roberto Mancini. The team clearly play for each other, look mean, fit, hungry and more than capable of extending their unbeaten run into the New Year. It's all coming together for City's cool for cats dapper gaffer.

Excellent all round performance. We are beginning to look like the real deal now. Yaya was superb.

Avram Grant magnanimous in defeat referred to City as being a very strong team especially physically.

Mancins vision is finally coming up thrumps. The way we controll games now is superb and in time we will get better and score more. We need to be patient. Has tevez really put in a transfer request?????
