'pedestrian' is probably the best word i can find to describe the game...
They should have just agreed to a draw and not bothered to play - neither side seem that interested in going for a win...!
wasit going to be any differant? Juve cant go thro and we have already qualified, and neither team put strong sides out, so it was a case of dont lose and come top of the group, and we did'nt, BUT the game was dire.....Jo a Superstar in the making? scores1 misses 3 sitters.... but he was in the right place to miss em,eh lads
Good lad Jo.
Not bad considering we had only 4 players who can claim to be anything like 1st team regulars on from the sttart, and the bench made up mostly of EDS players. Nice touch from mancini to bring on Chantler - he's a City fan and has been with the club for over 10 years now. I know this was a dead rubber and not a terribly exciting game, but our reserves more than held their own against one of the most famous names in Europe. Job done.
Well done City Reserves!
