City hardly broke into a sweat this afternoon following a 3-0 convincing win of Inter Milan. Performances from David Silva, Joe Hart and Yaya Toure were top-notch and goals from Balotelli, Dzeko and Johnson seemed effortless.

Roberto Mancini and the lads bring home the first trophy of the season, next Sunday let's hope they bring home their second.

Really impressed by both some of the individual performances and the team performance as a whole. Dzeko is starting to look the part ( should have had a brace but for a very dubious offside call), Silva was, is and always will be pure class, Balotelli was a beast and I also thought Milner did well. The defending was particularly good, and though the stats will show they had more goal attempts than us, what it won't tell you is that all but 2-3 were from 30 yards out. Preseason seldom matters, but it does hint at what's to come - and I for one most definitely like what I see!

What a team Mancini has built and continues to build. Granted it was only a friendly but we beat Inter with the sort of ease you'd expect us to beat a League One side. Powerful, technical, dominant. Happy for Dzeko, whose bad luck seemed to continue when his first goal was disallowed wrongly for offside (see what happens when you get a good cross in to him, this was lacking too much last season), but then he got his goal after a stunning pass by Silva. Hats off to Kolarov who looked like a man whose place is under threat, miles better than we're used to seeing. Hopefully we can repeat this performance against Stretford.
