Johnny On The Spot: English football is in for a treat this season. The stunning explosion of supersub Sergio "Kun" Aguero onto The Etihad Stadium scene tonight was something to behold. He's got it all and then some. His second goal was a scorcher...But this was far from a one man effort as City had to work hard to raise themselves from the third gear they were stuck in for the duration of the Community Shield defeat. Edin Dzeko and David Silva worked tirelessly to lift the side after Swansea's bright, positive and admirable opening fizzled out into a City rout. The statistics bear out what could have easily been double figures as The Blues picked up where they left off in the Premier League last season with another clean sheet. There's little more to add save to say the momentum is back in City's young star studded sails. The Citizens could be looking at a very, very big season.

Wow! To say I am envious of your strike force is an understatment, what a prospect you have in Aguero, I,m pretty sure you will have an eventful season, best of luck to you too.

Only 2 goals and an assist on his debut? What a waste of money.

P.S. Carlos who?

Just read that the shots on target for City was the most for a PL team since Spurs beat Wigan 9-1.

City had more shots on target than the old Sky4 combined this weekend. Hats off to the Swans keeper Vorm for a great display, the one he saved from Yaya's indirect free kick was incredible.
