Johnny On The Spot: After the most promising of 30 minutes, City shipped a harsh lesson in Champions League football tonight as failure to capitalise upon possession and opportunity resulted in severe punishment...Regardless of the whys and wherefores or what might have beens of offsides or penalties City were ultimately outplayed and the result became a formality...Roberto Mancini's attempts to bolster a midfield that had become hopelessly lost and to freshen things up were sabotaged by a Carlos Tevez bench strike. The poison many of us feared could spill over into The Blues squad finally unleashed. In amongst all this Edin Dzeko showed dissent at being substituted and Pablo Zabaleta became angrily animated. The last things City's manager needed in such a massively important game...But 2-0 it remained as Nigel De Jong helped shore up the gaping holes. Damage limitation became the cause on a night to forget. I urge all Blues to get behind our gaffer at this time.

spooks - hardly unravelling. still spanked your ass and joint top. only problem we've got is the problem of balancing the books conflicting with mancini's authority. we've now got to give full backing to mancini. total. and that starts with the administration.

One defeat and it's all unravelling ajwb? Get off your soap box love. We let our heads after conceding and didn't work hard enough to get back into it. Nothing has been decided yet, still four games to go, we're up against it but it's still all to play for. No shame in being beaten by a top class side like Bayern on their turf.
