Johnny On The Spot:...BLUE MONDAY...I see a sinking ship in the harbour...Whatever happens in the remaining two games of this pulsating Premier League season, 650 million people and the rest worldwide witnessed confirmation tonight that Manchester united are in big trouble. Double trouble having lost the derbies 7-1 in this campaign. City were superior in every department and could have and should have won this game by three or four goals...The rags early impetus rapidly fizzled out as their come for a draw formation, though stifling City's fluid passing game initially, left them looking horribly limited. How their disjointed, ageing side is anywhere near this title with those already printed "Champions 20" t-shirts beggars belief...City's classy superiority, benefitting again from an unchanged side was epitomised in Zabaleta and Nasri's destruction of Evra, who like Rooney, seriously looks as if he wishes he was somewhere else. Stretford found the tables turned on themselves in the second half as The Citizens went 3-5-1 to make safe. Yet they really didn't need to, as the rags attacking threat was non-existant...united's implosion toward the end of a season where their limitations have been repeatedly exposed across all competitions was summed up in the pathetic sight of Sir Alex Ferguson losing the plot and screaming dementedly at Roberto Mancini. His attitude was mirrored by England flop Rugney who repeatedly hurled abuse at the officials...Back to City and how fitting that the club's young amabassador who has guided his side by astute, robust captaincy, Vincent Kompany, the finest defender in England should seal this superb win. If anyone deserves to be a title winning skipper then it is this articulate leader of men...So City continue to take on their tough run-in with a fourth consecutive win and must beat a much stronger side than the rags in their own back yard next weekend, even though the rags on recent evidence will struggle to beat Swansea. If City win at Newcastle, a title, already merited will be all but sealed. Well played Blues.

If the big mouthed scruffy loser, that I had an argument with in Lloyds TSB Newton Heath, is reading this, then HAH! Feeling bad?

Well done to the only team in 'Manchester' to have 'Manchester' fans. Very happy you won, sick of the Glory Hunters constantly cheating their way to titles. I said for a long time i wanted change, City winning is change, this is the best thing for Football, more competition = better league. Beat Newcastle Sunday and pretty sure the title is yours.

Well done mates. It will be a disgrace to the PL if that fecking average Manure side wins the title with full of divers

Cannot for the life of me remember them having 3 shots, let alone 2 on target. You sure the statisticians aren't trying to flatter them by including a couple of crosses that strayed within a few feet of the goal line?
fifthcolumnblue
Fifth, this was the first time the rags didn't have a shot on target in three years. Stats triple checked and amended!

FCB, Park hit on to row Y couple of minutes in, Nani McPhee got it to row Z and I think they count the one That Joe dropped over the byline because his hands were cold through doing ***** all for the rest of the game.
