Johnny On The Spot: #Flawless. It is difficult to find the right superlatives to describe a brilliant, controlled and accomplished Manchester City performance in Spain tonight, but I will give it a go. Quintessentially, The Blues were effing superb in every department, explosively released from last weekends domestic shackles...Every single player played to his strengths and was as fully committed to the cause as our fantastic travelling support. To a man, especially in the Double Nando-Touré axis City went after second balls like tigers and I think it's right there where this game was won... Surely this was City's finest European showing since the Manchester power shift took place...The first half was played out at a ferocious pace with City's intelligent wing play devastating a very good Sevilla side time and again. Make no mistake, the Spaniards clearly gave it their best shot, but they never fully recovered from an opening City blast that looked to have surprised them, Manuel Pellegrini sending out an apparantly super-charged side on a mission to go toe to toe from the off...The Engineer got his tactics absolutely spot on, as he cunningly switched his men from rapid pass and move high intensity mode to full control and counter mode for the second half...This truly was as perfect an away win in Europe as you could wish to see. Quite where this dazzling result will take an injury plagued City squad with Kun Aguero and David Silva chomping at the bit to return to action lends cause for great excitement. Confidence and belief will be bursting out of these players tonight. Not the least Raheem Sterling who was absolutely brilliant, breathtaking at times in an outstanding appearance. He's my Man of The Match. He's not only top of the league in England, he's top of the league in Europe now, as well. Now for Aston Villa. Stats Courtesy BBC Sport

Manuel Pellegrini: "It is very important to qualify for the next stage, now we will try to qualify in first position. I'm happy with the way we played, we scored three goals, missed three of four clear chances to score, and we defended well. I was not happy with the way we were playing in the previous games, so I'm happy with our form tonight...The three midfielders - Yaya Toure, Fernandinho and Fernando - played well, pressed higher and our attack was really prepared. We played with one touch and moved into space, that was the reason we created so many chances."
