The emphasis was on the fragility of the City defence but in the last 5 games City have only conceded 3 goals and two of those were dubious at best. City came into the game favourites as Bournemouth were yet to win a game this year (2017) but were destined to wait a little while after City dominated the match, but that is not to say that they had it their own way, but that stats seem to bear that out. Gabriel Jesus went of Injured after 15' and replaced by Aguero for his first start for what seems ages. City hit the woodwork three times, both posts and the bar. The goals both came down the left and both had a bit of luck to them but in the end the luck was deserved, I shall leave it to the Pedmachine to describe the goals, but in the end it was a win and sent City second in the table having been written off by 99% f the pundits.
